The Lotus Method

This method combines the techniques of yoga and writing workshops (poetry, reflection, fiction, etc.). 

Lotus offers a ‘gentle’ approach to yoga, with simple postures (asana), adapted breathing techniques and a search for stillness (mindfulness). 

The practice of yoga promotes well-being, improved mental health and self-awareness. It creates a safe space between participants that is encouraging for collaborative poetry writing.

The process helps to give participants the confidence to express themselves and their artistic imagination, and then to share and exchange among each other. It is part of an integration and social cohesion approach in the local community.
